Direct Care Staff – Group Home Program

Direct care staff provide care and supervision to ensure the safety and well being of children residing in our residential setting.  Work as part of a team to help create a home-like environment and support the needs of the children.

Requirements: Must be 21; high school graduate; good driving record; a responsible,energetic and caring person who loves children.

Social Worker

This person will function as a team member in coordinating services for children under the care and supervision of JAFCO’s family preservation, foster care, adoption, emergency shelter and group home programs. The social worker will serve as the child and family’s advocate in attempting to provide and facilitate the best possible care and treatment available.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy and two years direct experience working with children
  • Or Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field and four years experience working with children

MST Therapist

The MST Therapist serves as the adolescent and family’s advocate in attempting to provide and facilitate the best possible care and treatment available.  An MST Therapist must have the ability to develop helping relationships and implement intervention plans with adolescents, families, and communities in cooperation with the MST Team.

Requirements : A Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or a related subject area with experience in treating serious antisocial behavior in youth.
